As threatening skies loom in the distance, 60046 ‘William Wilberforce’ passes Rearsby on 12th September 2024 with the 6Z82 Derby Chaddesden Sidings to Brandon Down Sidings, conveying eighteen empty JNA-T box wagons.

To the left of the train is the old station house of the 1848-built Rearsby station. It closed in 1951 and was later converted into living accommodation, a purpose it still serves today.
