CT Plus route 394: Homerton Hospital - Islington, Angel

CT Plus retained route 394 from Ash Grove (HK) on 29 April 2017. More E20D MMCs, 1272-1282, were purchased following the small localised operator's recent tender success in Walthamstow.
Route 394 is one of the more challenging routes in London. Running via the back roads of Hackney, including Broadway Market and the estates of Hoxton, the many corners and narrow roads along the route justifies its demand for short-length singular door vehicles.
I like to see a small operator grow organically and, despite claims of the company hiring agency drivers, CT Plus have demonstrated their competitiveness with their latest tender gains. I was highly impressed by their customer service on route 394; the driver pictured, especially, is a strong representative for the HCT Group's community spirit, radiating his bright character amongst passers-by and passengers alike ... whatever the weather!
