London General route 153: Finsbury Park Station - Moorgate, Finsbury Square

London General started their new contract to route 153 from Northumberland Park (NP) on 3 February 2018. The route has been acquired from CT Plus with electric buses SEe65-76 completing its new allocation.
My mind went blank trying to remember the other end of route 153, Moorgate
Finsbury Square the terminus I knew but less convinced that Finsbury Park was the other terminus otherwise both ends have 'Finsbury' in them. Turns out they do, a fun fact I only paid attention to after this service change.
The buses are much the same as the 360, however more 20mph road speed restrictions mean there are less opportunities to exploit pace on the 153 as it perseveres through the narrow traffic-clogged sidestreets of The City into Islington. Therefore, the 153 is less of a fun route to check out the E200EV. More to come from
