CT Plus route 388: Hackney Wick, Trowbridge Road - Blackfriars Station

About HEA1:
This is CT Plus' first Alexander Dennis manufactured double-decker, as well as their first bus ran on the new hybrid technology. This vehicle was part funded by the University College London, based on the Hampstead Road (near Warren Street Station). When not being used for research, the bus is popularly used on route 388 from Hackney Wick Trowbridge Road to Blackfriars Station.
Tracking HEA1:
Well, to start off with, HEA1 is about the most annoying bus I have had to track. It is extremely stressful. Until today, I had never seen it in service before my eyes or on the London Vehicle Finder (LVF). So as it was a Bank Holiday, I thought of trying to find that pain in the backside.
Throughout the day, LVF kept telling me HEA1 was at a certain stop at a certain time but seemed to be making no progression on the 388 route whatsoever (i.e. it would say that at 17:20 it was a Pollard Row and would remain like this for half an hour before changing). So what I did was track the bus ahead of it (HTL2 - LR52 LTN) and then guess how many stops behind HEA1 was.
As I approached Bethnal Green Station, HEA1 popped up on my Live London Bus Tracker, its location departing Hackney Wick. I waited at Ash Grove for it to arrive - according to my tracker at 19:27. It did not arrive at that time, so five minutes later I crossed the road to Ash Grove Bus Garage (see previous photos). I turn around, and there's HEA1 ... on the other side of the road! I obviously got it or this photo would not have been taken.
