East London route 498: Romford, Queen's Hospital - Brentwood, Sainsbury's

Stagecoach London won route 498 from Romford (NS) on 27 June 2015. Covering for the late delivery of 10301-10307 stood some original Enviro400s until the MMCs entered service from 9 July 2015.
My journeys were brief aboard these buses, however I was still able to be impressed by them. They sound exactly like the original Enviro400 but they accelerate much faster and ride more smoothly. The MMCs also feel lighter, an improvement stated but never really apparent with the hybrid version which inaugurated the bus type in London. These are simply the best Enviro400 MMCs so far.

East London route N15: Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross Station - Romford Market
Departed Trafalgar Square / Charing Cross Station (F), towards Southampton Street / Covent Garden (A)
Stagecoach London have introduced some more MMCs to fleet. 10308-10347 are gradually entering service at Barking (BK) and Romford (NS), but primarily to convert route 62 (BK) to double-decker sevrvice as well as for routes 145 (BK) and 294 (NS). Route N15 added to the mix on this night, 10330 the only MMC in service on the night route.

Route 62 was retained by Stagecoach: East London from Barking (BK) with new E40D MMCs on 30 April 2016. The new buses have fully converted the 62 to double-decker service.

East London route 145: Dagenham, ASDA - Leytonstone Station
Approaching Wanstead Station / George Green (C)
Route 145 was retained by Stagecoach London from Barking (BK) with existing E400s and new E40D MMCs.
The new buses are an excellent new addition - smooth and fairly quiet, although the air-conditioning is louder than the engine to fully determine how quiet the bus actually is on the move. Comfort is of high quality and the 145 has some motorway sections to enjoy a fast ride aboard the diesel MMCs.
