Metroline West route 295: Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's Clapham Junction Station

Metroline West won route 295 from Tower Transit on 31 October 2015. With the new contract comes VWH2122-2144, the buses introducing the revised front design style of the Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 to Metroline.

Metroline West route N18: Trafalgar Square - Harrow Weald, Bus Garage

The new VWHs for the 295 have made one or two appearances on route N18 since entering service. Tonight sees VWH2134 take on the challenge of covering a duty on the busy night route in rather wet conditions, raindrops noticeably on my camera lens at the time of the photo!

Metroline West route 18: Euston, Bus Station - Sudbury

I was very annoyed with myself for not checking this working earlier than I did. My completely knackered self had to settle for a photo of the return journey of VWH2129 to Sudbury. The bus entered service at a stingy quarter past eleven, accomplishing one round which has been the most in the very few times a new VWH has been on the route.

Metroline route 114: Ruislip Station - Mill Hill Broadway
Departing Lascelles Avenue (WT), towards St. Georges Centre (X1)
Metroline have started their new contract to route 114 from Uxbridge (UX) with new B5LH-Gemini 3s. VWH2167-2186 completely converted the route to a fully hybrid service with Metroline on 3 September 2016.
The route is nice, the buses are nice, but that is about it. Given a good driver, there is a lot of potential to enjoy a ride aboard the 114, however out of all the Harrow service changes so far, I would recommend the Harrow Weald (HD) routes - that's during the off-peak hours. Nevertheless, another good service change for the area.
