Arriva London route 243: Waterloo Station, Tenison Way - Wood Green Station

A better photo would have sufficed at the traffic lights, but an annoying frequency of cyclist queues altered my efforts. I made do with this attempt before the lights, but street furniture similarly forced me to take the photo at a slightly more unfavourable angle.

HV201-225 are part of Arriva London's first mass purchase from The Wright Group in three years, the Shires & Essex StreetDecks an exception. They have gradually entered service on route 243, way ahead of Arriva's new contract to route 259 starting 25 March.

Arriva London route 341: Waterloo, Lower Marsh - Northumberland Park, Angel Road Superstores
Approaching Holborn Circus / Fetter Lane (H)

I challenged myself into an audacious position to capture the latest HV201-225 attraction: route 341. Many buses from its existing Gemini 2 DW fleet have been updated with more detailed displays for Angel Road Superstores, now capitalised as a qualifying point for Northumberland Park.

Also containing the updated displays are these new buses at Tottenham (AR) awaiting the start of Arriva's new contract to route 259, as demonstrated by HV213 exiting New Fetter Lane - served solely by the 341 - for Holborn.

Arriva London route 2: Norwood, Bus Garage - Marylebone Station
Brixton Academy (C)

Arriva London retained their contract to route 2 from Norwood (N) on 1 April 2017. New B5LH-Gemini 3 buses, HV293-325, continue the standardised quality of buses on the 2 previously provided by its 04-reg VLAs, themselves impressive vehicles considering the much more updated fleet of buses on routes around them. Arriva London route N2: Marylebone Station - Crystal Palace, Bus Station
Approaching York Street (F)

Route N2 has been re-directed at Victoria to serve to Marylebone, like its day service, instead of Whitehall. There was a bit of delay allocating HV293-325 to the night route, so T-coded E40Ds introduced the N2 to Marylebone on 1 April 2017. The service is now fully hybrid, as demonstrated by the pictured HV293.

Anerley Station - Clapham Common, Old Town
Departing Streatham / St. Leonard's Church (SL), towards Garrad's Road (S)

Arriva London won the contract to route 249 on 1 April 2017. The route is run from Norwood (N) with new B5LH-Gemini 3 buses, HV280-294.

Curtailed to Balham.
