London United route C1: White City, Bus Station - Victoria Station
Approaching White City Bus Station (WL)
Electric buses were briefly introduced onto route C1 on 3 October 2018, but did not return until this week starting 22 October. Even then, running patterns were limited to evening trips until today, when a few buses from BE37005-37040 ran the whole day.
The electrification of route C1 displaces existing DE-class Enviro200s, such as the 10-reg example pictured following one of its electric successors out of Westfield's parking complex to White City Bus Station. The layout of the complex has changed since the last time I was here, the bus parking area now located nearer the car park as opposed to before when it was alongside the bus station.

London United route 70: Chiswick, Business Park - South Kensington, Queensbury Place
Approaching Chepstow Road / Westbourne Grove (PL)
Electric buses entered service on route 70 from 1 October 2018. BE37005-37040, which include buses for route C1, introduce the RATP Group's first fully electric-powered buses to Shepherd's Bush (S) and displace the DLE-coded diesel examples of the same type that brought the 70 to London United last year. These buses should make their way onto routes in Epsom and possibly Hounslow soon.
Some of the shops along Westbourne Grove and in Notting Hill have never properly caught my photographic attention until this moment. Maddox Gallery's flowery decorations have made for a colourful composition in sunny weather, the trees along Chepstow Road a natural presence to the background. I like to think the zero-emission BE37015 completes this appreciation for all things green.
