On our second Winter Gala trip from Loughborough on GWR 2884 Class 2-8-0 3850 we had an itv Central News photographer ride with us to Quorn who took some footplate footage. He told us it would be broadcast on the Friday early evening news.
I missed the news because I had another firing turn that afternoon but found the report on their website. Not that I'm vain or anything of course but I took a couple of screen grabs! This one shows me and Nigel & it looks like with the pressure gauge red-lining I'm putting on the injector ahead of the station.
