Until a few years ago, the motif was printed on postcards, the tourism industry put it in the advertising for the region Côte de Granit Rose - without matching with the owners (since its construction in 1861, it is privately owned). At some point, the rush to the small coastal town of Plougrescant and its houses, which were wedged between rocks, grew accordingly large.
The building pictured on the photo is representative of many more, along the GR 34 hiking trail, which includes: runs on the edge of the village, can be found. After a successful lawsuit filed by the current owner - a lady living in Paris who only uses it for a few weeks a year - it can no longer be advertised commercially today. In the past you could walk straight to the house. Today, a wall runs around the property and the driveway to the house is protected by a turnpike.
