ALL MY PHOTOS ARE NOW ON SALE!
Our first session together had been, for me, lackluster. No fault of McKenzie's, the location I'd picked was new, and didn't really do it for me. I think we'd had another location in mind, but it had been closed that day, so we were forced to a second spot that wasn't really up to snuff.
I could see the possibilities, though, set this session up as quickly as I could. Kept it simple, right outside McKenzie's apartment (meant I drove to her place, made it as hassle-free for her as possible), some delicious afternoon sun, that's all we needed, that's all I wanted.
And it all came out just right. Took me not getting discouraged by the first session, a lesson I should've learned more thoroughly, looking through the archives. Lots of models I had a subpar session with, I never gave 'em another go, and that shows a lack of vision! Like I do with Polaroids, these days, I should always give folks at least two attempts. Who knows what that first day was the result of!
Always give it another go.
