This little wooden house clearly goes back to the second half of the 19th century. It is not only a survivor of the early days of Invermay, but has been adapted for special needs too. If you look closely you'll see the home made wheel chair ramp running up to the verandah on the right hand side.

One of the key elements in this composition is the network of powerlines converging on this corner. It made me think of someone who became a good Flickr friend to many: Donna Currall. Donna died suddenly a few weeks ago. This was her final post.

I could always count on Donna making a comment about powerlines in my shots. I love that she could see beyond the mere prettiness of it all (and that's true of her own photos too). This was one of the more recent comments from her: "Nice power lines against the pink sky."

We'll miss you Donna.
