Swivel hinges and simple stud connections are all there is to it. The oddly coloured hinges are hidden with brackets and tiles and the few that are on the last few columns won't be visible anyway. Completely legal and quite sturdy when in spiral (straight like this is quite wobbly).

It's been a while since the last update on my motorized City diorama but I'm finally back to this project. I guess the video is self-explanatory. (The yellow and pedestrian lights are dummies.) It's all puristic and legal. ;)

Added a parking lot and a tree. The parking lot is a bit narrow so I might expand it.
