This is a blended image from 3 RAW bracketed exposures. I converted the RAW images into 6 images with Nikon Editor at differences of 1/3rd-2/3 stops, boosting contrast, reds and blues. I wanted to get a sort of "Velvia" feeling. Then I blended images together using the Grad filter technique. See here:

This was taken near the dam at Oblong Lake, Fort Irwin, Ontario, Canada. The log boom is there to prevent boats from going over the dam.
