A pannonhalmi apátság csak szervezett csoportokban látogatható, és nekünk sajnos várnunk kellett. A magyar csoportba vett olcsóbb jeggyel felsétáltunk a hegyre egy másik, külföldi csoporttal, de nem engedtek be - kénytelenek voltunk visszasétálni és kivárni a sorunkat. Ügyfélcentrikusság és udvariasság bizony nem sok volt, és a jegyárak sem családbarátok, a gyerekek miatt jelentősen többet fizettünk.
8 napos balatoni nyaralásun első délutánján értünk ide. Pannonhalmán még soha nem jártunk, de barátaink tanultak itt diákként, és egyébként is érdekelt az ország eme nevezetes intézménye.
The monastery of Pannonhalma only allows guided tours, and we could not join the prevous, English group with our tickets to the still expensive, but later Hungarian group. We were a bit disappointed with the rigidity, and also the lack of family-friendliness in ticket prices - we paid a lot of extra for the kids.
The first stop of our 8-day summer vacation. Pannonhalma is a famous medieval monastery where a few of our friends attended high school, but where none of us had been before. It was a very interesting visit.
