In the wet gravel just above the tide,

The bee is under the wasp at top left. Yellowjackets are partly carnivorous and I assume the honey bee was dead. I first saw one Yellowjacket on the bee, but within one minute there was a second one, then less than 40 seconds later a third, and only 10 seconds later the fourth. Makes me curious if they share the prey or how it is consumed, but I did not stay to watch.
