We saw several condors flying at Grimes Point, on the Big Sur Coast. According to www.condorsptter.com, which provides information about the individual condor from the numbered tag, this condor was hatched in 2003.

Many of us would call this tree a Eucalyptus, but in the late 1990's the botanists separated this genus and at least one other from the genus Eucalyptus, which still remains a very large genus. Collectively the several closely related genera are called "Eucalypts."
