Back from an amazing trip to the Galapagos Islands. There is no way to describe how special this place is. I came home with over 2000 pics. This is an older sea lion "pup" nursing on the beautiful red beach of Rabida Island with our boat the Pinta in the background.

Young Galapagos Sea Lion swam right up to me and blew bubbles in my face while snorkeling. They are so playful!

American Flamingo, Rabida Island, Galapagos
There is a small population of just over 300 flamingoes in the Galapagos Islands. We were lucky enough to see a few nesting among a flock of about 15 on Rabida Island.

There are 3 species of Land Iguana in the Galapagos including a pink one living on a volcano that was only discovered in 1986. This is the most common type and is found on several of the islands.
