We'd already taken pictures that day, around the corner from my favorite Mexican restaurant, but there was still a lot of day left, so once we were back at my house, it was more pictures with my at-the-time favorite lighting set-up.
There had been a lot of laughing, which often leads to a quiet moment like this, once someone's tired themselves out a bit, more relaxed, it's a factor I haven't considered much, how folks are once they've exhausted themselves, if only slightly.
Yet another way of breaking down walls.

Playing around with the Visoflex for close-up work. It's too early for spring flowers so here is a Seiko watch instead (sorry for the scratched bezel, I got it used)
Original negative cropped by around 10% with my scanning setup hence the edge is missing here.

Instead of her more flamboyant partner, featured in my previous post. The iridescence of her head and wing plumage is not lacking relative to the drake. This amorous couple was lovely to watch as they took turns preening each other in a large crowd of Mallards. At the Pool, Central Park, New York.
