Milky Way emerging from the edge at Crater Lake. I sat in 40 degree + 30 mph winds wearing shorts and minimal clothes to see and and photograph the stars.

I had a really cruddy tripod that was not sturdy so had to try to shield wind with my body. The whole thing was quite an ordeal.

I stayed out there for well over an hour. Was very cold.
