Workflow:
1. convert 14 bit Canon 50D RAW file with DXO Optics (lens corrections only) to a 16 bit TIFF file.
2. Process photo with Photomatix Pro in Adobe RGB colour space.
3. In Photoshop crop, convert to sRGB and save as JPG file.

The resulting picture has more detail than the one processed from the JPEGs.
