What I would give to have been able to take this photo just 10-15 minutes sooner! I tell ya, the sky was all lit up and just beautiful against the river. But alas, there was no where to pull off the road (that would include the river too). :( This doesn't exactly do it justice, but at least I gave it an honest try! In the future, if I'm ever in the area at the time of a sunset, I know just where to go! lol Hope you enjoy!

This is the field section as Roozengaarde. Although Roozengaarde is mostly gardens, this year their fields were quite amazing as well. The blue-gray Cascade mountains in the background, and the cloud cover gave it a marvelous backdrop. Hope you enjoy!

These, of course, are hollyhocks. I think they look so beautiful up close for a macro shot. Hope you enjoy!

This photo was taken three years ago, after having had a lot of rain for the season. Having expected that amount of rain, I'm sure urged them to plant a lot more tulips...certainly a lot more than we've seen the last couple years. I'm hoping this year--since we had another good year of rain--that they went ahead and planted another big crop! We shall see! Time will tell!
