. . . but still blooming! I was surprised today when I informally inventoried what was still going on in what I grandly call "the garden". All this bloom was yet in evidence!
For those of you not familiar with western North Carolina, we live at 2600 ft. above sea level. This means that our growing zone is very different from coastal or piedmont Carolina, despite a similarity in latitude. Because of the altitude, our zone resembles that of central New Jersey and southern Connecticut!
