The fire-spotter's tower on the left, partly hidden behind snowy bushes last January, formerly stood atop the middle mountain in the picture to the right. The peak is called "Little Snowball Mountain" and today it does indeed have snow. The tower-house, which stands on a tall metal framework, was dismantled in the 1970s. Stored for many years, it was restored recently at the museum park. From my camera vantage point today, both were visible to me. Imagine spending a cold winter's night atop a mountain in one of those little houses with only your wood stove for company!
Just an exercise in putting things back the way they once were.
