The two tour busses for our week-long trip around Normany, ready and waiting for our rather-large group to set out on Day One. At the Hotel Oceania, near Charles de Gaulle Airport outside Paris. It was a delightful hotel and, on balance, one of the best we stayed in over the two weeks! Not that any were poor, but this one had some delightful features like bathrooms with heated towel bars!

Caen Castle. Built by William of Normandy starting in 1060. A multi acre space housing museums and a beautiful park, many resources. Beautifully maintained and much used by the Caen residents, as well as by visiting tourists like me. Normandy.
