Middenweg | A10 exit/entrance 13 14/05/2012 13h37
The road works on the A10 Oost have started in April 2012 with earth moving equipment to prepare the relocation of the on and off ramp of the exit 13 (A10 interior). This all to create extra space for the widening of the A10 Ring to 5 lanes per direction (including merging and exit lanes).

The beltway A10 (the Ring around Amsterdam) will be widened at the East section from 6 to 8 lanes. This has consequences for the areas directly next to the highway like on this spot at the Middenweg and Onderlangs in Betondorp where used to be a little square with two benches. Sheet pile walls will be erected where you see the red marker in the ground to be able to create space to construct the exta lanes. Also the overpass will be widened later on.

The widening of the East A10 belt away around Amsterdam from 3 to 4 lanes per direction (excluding 2 exit and entry lanes) becomes more and more visible. This is taken from the Middenweg near exit 13 ("Diemen - Watergraafsmeer - S113").

Same spot almost one month ago seen from the other direction:

The widening of the East A10 belt away around Amsterdam from 3 to 4 lanes per direction (excluding 2 exit and entry lanes) becomes more and more visible. This is seen from the Hartveldseweg in Diemen towards Duivendrecht. Also the first 3 poles of the new noise barrier are visible on the right. The installation of these walls started this day.

Point of view is Diemen, but everything you see are within the city limits of Amsterdam.

A10 Oost 07/02/2013 10h30
The 'widening' of the A10 belt highway around Amsterdam will be widened in the year 2014 together with the contruction of a by-pass towards the new area Science Park. This by-pass is the Carolina Macgillavrylaan and the contruction of this new avenue is at the left side.
On the overpass a grounded V250 train of Fyra. This type of train has been put out of service in January due to major technical problems.
