Monorail 02/069/2018 13h26
Since 1977 Hellendoorn has its monorail built by MACK rides. There is only one station so it's not used as a transport system here. Andy in front of me looking backwards for a photo.
Avonturenpark Hellendoorn
Avonturenpark Hellendoorn (Adventure park Hellendoorn) is a theme park at Hellendoorn in Overijssel. The park was founded in 1936 by Jan van den Berg.
In 1936 Van den Berg built his teahouse with terrace, Our Ideal, on the Hellendoornse mountain. To attract more visitors, he added some playground equipment. Two years later he changed the name to De Elf Provinciƫn. Over the years, several playgrounds were added and the teahouse expanded to a restaurant. In 1947 began the construction of the Maze, which would eventually take three years and then the restaurant with halls was expanded. In 1956 the park started with the construction of a Fairy Tale Garden.
In the seventies, the first major attractions were added, such as the Monorail, Casa Magnetica, Sea Lion Show, Western Hall and Jungle Vaart. In 1978 the second generation Van den Berg joined the management: Hans, Ben and Jan jr. Also the name changed, shortly thereafter, in the nowadays still known Avonturenpark Hellendoorn.

DrakenNest 02/06/2018 12h16
Hellendoorn has it's Crazy Surfer "Disk'O Coaster" as well since April 2017. The Disk'O (also known as Skater or Surf's Up) is a type of flat ride manufactured by Zamperla of Italy. The ride is a larger version of a Rockin' Tug, also manufactured by Zamperla. It is a large halfpipe with hill in middle. Outwards-facing seats. In this attraction riders sit on a circular platform with outward-facing seats. The platform moves back and forth along a halfpipe track while spinning. It has a length of 81.5 m and a 11.3 m and goes about 15 meters high. It can carry 40 riders at a time and the capacity is 600 riders an hour. [ Wikipedia ]
The name Drakennest connects with the theme of the attraction. The story is about a bad female dragon named Hellendra. To bring her to a stop, a machine was built under her nest with eggs. The machine lets the nest cradle, making the eggs hatch faster and the young dragons can be tamed by the occupants. [ Recron.nl ]

Discovery Club 02/06/2018 14h18
This darkride truly lives up to the name 'adventure park'. I liked the game affect of this ride. And it's all going on in a basement. This photo is taken during the evacuation of the attraction due to a malfunction of the transport system.
Discovery Club
Discovery Club is an interactive dark ride in the Dutch amusement park Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. The attraction is in the theme area Bella's Pleintje. Discovery Club is the first and only interactive darkride in the Netherlands.
The exterior of the attraction is a country house that looks dilapidated. However, the attraction is not in the mansion, but completely underground. The entrance of the attraction is next to the country house. The flow of visitors is regulated by means of a gate that allows four people at a time to pass through and then blocks for an indefinite period of time. After the turnstile, the queue goes via a decorated corridor and spiral staircase to the station. Various special effects have been added to the queue, such as sound effects. There is a story behind the darkride. This story was told in the five-minute show of the attraction. In the spring of 2007, however, the front show was removed. The space where the pre-show took place is now used as an event hall. The story behind Discovery Club is that strange things happen to Professor Nulnix. In an experiment it went wrong and as a result all objects move in the house. The professor therefore asks the visitors for help to calm down the objects by shooting the targets with a laser gun.
The 135 meter long transport system consists of ten separate vehicles that can rotate 360 degrees around their own axis. There is room for up to four people per vehicle. During the ride, every visitor receives a laser gun and is given the opportunity to shoot at the 165 targets. At the end of the ride, each visitor gets to see his score. The system also keeps track of the highest achieved score of the day and season.
