The White Sands Buddhist Center is a Vietnamese Buddhist holy place located in the census-designated place of Mims, Florida. The facility is located just north of the city of Titusville on Florida's Space Coast. The grounds here are beautifully kept featuring ornate statues throughout the grounds.
The main statue of the Buddha sitting upright in the posture of meditation was carved in Vietnam from blocks of granite. It has a height of 35 feet and weights over 200 tons. It has been at the monastery here since March 2013.
