The water is still. The wavebreakers have done their job. The album is complete.

I am retiring this album for good. It has been a great vehicle for me to learn and grow as a photographer, a person and an artist. All good things come to an end as they say. I've ended albums before, as most people do everyday, without a moment's thought, but this one really meant something to me and I am kind of saddened to see it go.

Today also signifies the change of policy for me. Which is also sort of sad. Since I joined Flickr over three years ago - I have visited, favorited and commented on an image from every single person that favorited or commented on an image of mine. Thee years, almost 40K favorites and over 1.6 million views and I am no longer able to keep up. I really, really appreciate all of the views, favorites and comments, but it is more that I can handle and I need to change the way I approach it. I think the first step is that I will no longer be responding to favorites of explored images. My last explore image had 1200 favorites and I simply can't make it through the list.

So thank you so much to every one of you for your thoughts, your kindness and your time. I really love this site and look forward to a slightly different version in the future.

In the meantime - please enjoy the last of the wavebreakers.
