New beginnings. This is a start of a new album titled Urban. I have no agenda at the moment, just a ton of pictures. Most of the shots are of movement and most contain people. I'm on the move in the city and it is hectic and chaotic and beautiful. We'll see how it goes.

Time’s Person of the Year was the silence breakers. This is easily the best news of 2017 and cheers to every single woman who stood up in unison to shout ‘Me Too’. It was brilliant and absolutely the right choice. Of all the troubling and disturbing acts and issues that are confronting the world today, it is nice to have one victory.
Assault and discrimination against women have been a systemic cultural problem since forever. It has always been an issue. It has remained an issue for so long because there were never any consequences. Shame the victim or stack the process against them or simply let the assaulters go free. Again and again and again and the problem continues. Now, however, there are consequences. It’s embarrassing that is what it takes, but if a man fears going to jail or losing his job – he will not commit the act. It is really that simple.
It is a lesson that I hope we understand and start to apply to other issues as well. There are so many issues to address. These consequences need to continue though. This period needs to keep going until the time arrives that when someone assaults another person – everybody immediately understands that the person is going to face consequences. Then we can have a dialogue on how to behave. Cheers to the silence breakers – well done!
