I believe this is why I find myself always wanting to go up to Shenandoah National Park, because no matter how many times I have visited this National Park, it always shows me something different.

For those that have never been here, what you're looking at is one of the overlook views close to Front Royal Virginia, the mountainside that is being enveloped by the fog actually has the Skyline Drive going through it. Yes, that straight section that is carved out IS the Skyline Drive.

A while back I had read somewhere that Shenandoah National Park was one of the foggiest U.S. National Parks... I think that article was correct.

I have discovered that the magic of this park is in the details as my Nikon 70-200 f4 lens is becoming my favorite landscape lens.

Oh, to see this sight you need to be up in the park before sunrise. ;-)
