At the end of a cold December 7, 1996, day, Wisconsin Central train 47 diverges onto the connection track at Duplainville, Wisconsin, for the trip back home to North Fond du Lac. Train Nos. 46 and 47 were a turn, operating from Shops Yard in N. Fond du Lac to Muskego Yard in Milwaukee and return. Today’s short train is led by WC’s only EMD FP45, No. 6652.
