Yesterday on Princess Street in Manchester City Centre Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 Hybrid MX60BVR set on fire, the bus was in service at the time, but the driver and passengers on board managed to get off the bus without harm. The bus pictured here at around 1130 just after the road re-opened and the fire engine left the scene.
This is the 4th such occurrence in Greater Manchester since Christmas Eve 2016, it currently hasn't been reported what the issue is and if they are connected or not. It is also not know what will happen with this bus yet, as the damage seems to be confined to the bottom rear of the bus.
