This is the Volvo 7900 electric demonstrator that is currently with First Manchester on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester for trials and evaluation on Metroshuttle 2 around Manchester City Centre.

The image here show it parked up at Shudehill Interchange below a connection arm that, when the bus is parked in the correct place and handbrake applied, comes down to charge the on board batteries to allow it to continue service.

This was the best image I was able to compose of the bus due to it's location and me not having authorisation to go onto the bus carriageway, hopefully I will get an image from the front when I am next in Manchester City Centre during the coming week.
