For more than a century, architects have puzzled over a simple dilemma: how can they
maintain the efficiency of the established high-rise formula of building design while escaping
the monotony of what essentially amounts to a series of identically stacked plates on
display? By cleverly playing with the form and evoking empathy, the Absolute Towers' profiles
seem to change continuously when seen from afar. From a closer vantage point, the
geometric puzzle remains intact, but a feature at another scale begins to dominate. Designed
to maximise viewing potential inside and out, balconies wrap around every floor to give each
resident a unique experience of the city and neighbourhood, creating a wonderful impetus for
social interaction.
