One of my Dad's favorite pastimes was taking his grandkids out to see this beautifully restored steam engine pulling excursion trains between St. Louis and Rolla Missouri.

1522 is at rest now, as is my Dad. I took this photo during a break between hospital visits in September of 2012.

My Dad was a shining light, and a true inspiration to a lot of people, so I hope this honors him properly.
