Without a doubt the newest (delivered last year) and longest (227m) cruise vessels to visit Portsmouth, the "Viking Sky" slips out of the harbour for Le Havre (about two hours late).

Caught me off-guard this one, as someone forgot to check the harbour movements before leaving the house (oops).
"Echo" is an underwater survey vessel, primarily used for charting seabeds for submarine operations, but her last major deployment was last year in the search for Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.

The third visitor of the year dropped in today in the form of another Phoenix Reisen vessel, the 1973-built "Albatros"
She's seen here leaving for a slow cruise to Bremerhaven, after the passengers spent the day exploring the sights (???) of Portsmouth, being ferried to and from the port by one of Bailey's Citaros (see adjacent pic --> that way in photostream).
Next one is tomorrow, but that's "Minerva" again, so the next update to this series will be on the 1st May.
