Time lapse photography using about a one minute exposure while children had fun waving there neon glow sticks to music at a festival I was attending. Similar to filming firework explosions you don't know what you will get but sometimes a delightful surprise awaits your eyes. I did a number of these at different times and each one was a wild piece of abstract art.
Give it a try at home in the backyard the more participants the more colors and fun you will have.
