Giants of the desert canyons in Palm Springs seem to guard the way for hikers near the trail head at Andreas Canyon. These monster rocks reminded me from this angle of a friendly dinosaur dog hoping to play fetch with his boulder. Thats because I used to have a pet who loved to do this. Its a great trail though not free but you can spend the day seeing palm oasis, little waterfalls, hummingbirds and desert landscapes. Bring a canteen of water and sunscreen and have fun here.
