I went to Phoenix a few days and. I climbed 3 little mountians inside the city limits in three days. Its a fun place to go if you like cactus climbs. This view is about 2/3rds up Piestewa Peak and so popular that a emergency crew stands by at the bottom to treat sprained ankles, cuts and scrapes or possible heart attacks but its a fairly easy hike up just be careful coming down.

This magnificent indian mask in the great Heard Museum was a challenge. In a very dark area behind a glass case. I could not use flash so it has a grainy feel from 800 asa and long exposure which works add to the determination you see in this face. The artist is superb the spirit is moving. In the heart of downtown Phoenix this jewel is the place to go to discover the richness of Indian Art treasures from all of Arizona's tribel. The enterence is a quiet area where you can read a book or just be at one with your breathing. Put it on your must do list for Phoenix. I used some posterization in photoshop in this one.

This is my final entry in the merry-go-round series. I have a close up but this lion king is nice to see in his fuller surrondings. The carosel alone is worth the price of admission to this zoo.
