WaterFire evenings consist of eighty-six burning braziers (each with approximately 33 pieces of wood); some float just above the surface of the rivers that flow through Waterplace Park (the Woonasquatucket River) and the middle of downtown Providence. For 30 years it has been a art walk tradition held about 6 to 8 times a year mostly on summer nights. Thousands of people turn out to walk the 1 miles riverwalk and listen to ambient music, dance and see other art displays It is smoky and smells a bit light charcol lighter fluid but it is dazzling to see. Some people rent boat rides and can even add wood to the bonfire towers. A unique city event in Rhode Island's biggest city.

A favorite flower of New England the hydrangeas bloom in large clusters, colors are determined by the type of soil, they don't have petal but sepals which help absorbe the water to bloom. The leaves a big and broad and have low levels of cyanide so don;t let anyone eat them. There are 75 varieties and they originally came from Japan. Blessings
