When I’m in the mood for a DD confection and haven’t decided what sort, I will suggest to the counter person, “oh, surprise me.” Often I’ll get colorful or flavor of the month/week. This counter person just went with safe and bland. Maybe she was having a less than inspired day or I should have given more direction?
