first time i went to the Bergring Teterow was in 1988 + at first in the morning i asked for a coffee + and the answer was: "Coffee? - You can get a beer!" + that´s the reason why my memories are not complete + in this time i saw one rider dominating the races on the grasstrack + Simon Wigg + i enjoy the races in this time to the late 90s - sometimes with 50000 others spectators + Simon Wigg won the Golden Helmet 5 times and the Bergringpokal 3 times + this nostalgic looking photo i took in 1992 + i saw "The Lean Green Racing Machine" in 1997 the last time + Simon Wigg died in 2000 + a great racer gone!
