After school today we noticed your buttons didn't quite fit properly on your shirt. You apparently spent the entire day at school like this. Our mornings can be a bit hectic and sometimes we need to just slow down but I honestly am so grateful for these sweet imperfections. You after all won't always need your mama to remind you to fix your shirt or giggle when things don't go perfectly smooth.

We had some wild weather and you were completely enamored with the hail. Once the threat had passed you ran out in the yard and tried to gather up all the hail you could so you could keep them. We had to explain like all other ice or snow it would melt and wouldn't keep and you were so bummed. I could see your imagination going a mile a minute. Ultimately we ended up returning the hail to the yard with the promise it would happen again some day.
I suppose I am grateful you are not scared of spring storms though. You find beauty in so many things and I love that about you. Your appreciate for life and nature. You understand why safety is of importance but also know how to enjoy the moment and live in the day.
You get that it's the little things.

Your siblings and the adorable neighborhood kids built you a fort of your own in our front yard. I am sure the hOA wouldn't approve but you loved all the attention. Everyone dotes over you. You are the baby in every sense of the word.

today I believe you discovered our dogs. You stare and coo at them and when they bark.. you giggle. I kind of can't handle the cutneness.
