It's amazing how calm it has been in SE Florida as central Florida got slammed. Most of my family is without power in the Orlando area. I took advantage of the absence of boat traffic and went out to a relatively disappointing sunrise this morning, not complaining but it is what it is. However, I took the opportunity to play with some filters that I learned from my friend, Lance, could be applied to videos in Photoshop. I'm not sure that I like it but it's fun and another step on the learning curve. Now if I can just remember as much as I forget I'll be in good shape!

We are fortunate here in SE Florida to be far from where Milton will be hitting Florida. So far anyway. This morning was cloudy and the winds have picked up, but no more than normal. That said, the threat of a hurricane and its unpredictability kept the boats at harbor and even the dredge had been moved to a more secure location. I've become addicted to shooting sunrise timelapses, at least until the weather changes when I'll go back to wildlife. It's also helped me get a handle on Davinci Resolve as well as LRTimelapse, which I've been using to put the timelapses together.
