With only three days left before the official opening of the 2009 Illinois State Fair on August 14, here are a few of the sights one sees as the State Fairgrounds springs to life. The Illinois State Fair runs from August 14 - 23, with the annual Twilight Parade and State Fair Preview Night beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening, August 13.
