Ecco una vera e propria domenica italiana. Un giorno libero che descrive il carattere della gente, le loro abitudini e lo stile di vita. Il tempo si è fermato. Non c'è nessuna fretta. Dopo la pioggia d'aprile, arrivano i fiori del primo maggio.
La Madonna annaffia i lampadari di vetro ogni notte, mentre il bambino dorme in camera. Fra poco sarà troppo caldo per stare fuori.
Oggi Murano sembra una città fantasma: tutti guardano la partita di calcio alla TV. Non c'è nessuno per strada, solo un enorme gatto arancione con gli stivali. Bisogna stare attento: la luna piena porta di nuovo l'Acqua Alta!
Sfiorando il cielo fra le stelle, le rondini sono postini veloci che lasciano le lettere infilate nel caminetto delle case.
In mezzo alla calle, nel solito posto, c'è la macchina del tempo per viaggiare di nuovo alla magica città che ricordavi da ragazzino. Se un giorno ti prende la malinconia, è sempre pronta una scala d'emergenza per andare su e giù fra i due mondi.

Here is a typical Italian Sunday. A free day that describes the character of the people, their habits and the Italian life style. The time has stopped. There is no hurry. After April's rain, here come the first flowers of May.
Our Lady is watering the glass lamps every night, while the baby sleeps in the room. Soon it will be too warm outside.
Today Murano looks like a ghost town: everyone is watching football on TV. There is no one on the street, just a huge orange cat with boots. We must be careful: the full moon brings back the rising water!
Touching the sky among the stars, the swallows are fast postmen who leave letters into the chimney of the houses.
In the middle of the street, there's a time machine to travel back to the magic city that you remember as a child. If one day you feel the Melancholy, emergency stairs are always readyfor going up and down between the two worlds.
