I am adding a few Nova Scotia scenes to my NS set..in case someone wants to visit sometime..to show our diverse scenery..we have CapeBreton mountains and ocean, rambling shorelines and fishing coves, and lots of beautiful farmlands.. (I should call this set "drive by shootings" LOL)

Planning a road trip? ...not the best composition because this was taken while driving (as a passenger) to Antigonish..just a clip of some of the farmlands near Shubenacadie. Many of the dairy farms here are run by families with Dutch backgrounds...Most people come to N.S. for the ocean views but the inner parts of the province are very pretty too. best large to see the view View On Black On Explore July 11 #305

Last night was one of those evenings that had the promise of a nice sunset, so i decided to check out the Dartmouth boat club for a clear view of the sky.. All these silly little boats got in the way. LOL...This was about 9 PM and the sun had disappeared below the hills before I got there but the sky kept getting prettier and brighter...(of course i have another 30 photos on the computer..wanna see 'em?) best large:View On Black

In this edit (using Picasa2) I added a little fill light to brighten the boats, then a small amount of graduated tint to deepen the sky again.Compare it to the two below and tell me which looks better to you (and on your computer) ... manually set at 1/80 sec. f4, ISO 100
