If you ever travel to Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia be sure to visit Iona Highland Village which depicts the history of the Scots in Nova Scotia. Amanda and I went there last July and I never found time to edit and post most of the photos and I just came across this one in my hard drive with about 10 others..not sure where the other 300 are....

My sister gave me directions and we followed a very pretty dirt road from Port Hood to Mabou, in Cape Breton, in search of an abandoned school house, but we didn't find the school house...just pretty scenery and wildflowers.
