i always thought the lights came from behind the falls somehow, until I saw the light show...everchanging spotlights aimed at the American side first and then the Canadian side got its color show.

It was 6:30 and we were walking to find something to eat, but the light was getting so nice that I just couldn't miss the views...I couldn't tell what I was getting with my new camera, so I took lots of shots using auto, program, Live View etc. I think the city looks very pretty in this one. The mist was clearing as the breeze died off. Those of you who have been there know the sound of all that water crashing on the rocks...awesome! Aug. 4 on Explore #260

LOL is it just me or does this look like a little fellow sticking his tongue out at me??? Haha..on explore Aug. 5, and Scout says "Highest position 251 on Nov. 30 1999"! Are they being rude back??!!

Horseshoe Falls, the Canadian side, sending lots of mist in the air! A couple of Maids of the Mist bringing tourists for a wet and wonderful close-up view of the falls....we did that the second day.
